Well, this was unexpected. We were tagged on this tattoo artist’s Instagram page, and at first we didn’t understand what we were seeing. Was this a temporary tat, a painting mock up on skin…what? But then it became clear that someone in Tel Aviv, Israel wanted “Wheat Field” permanently on their arm.
We asked the tattoo artist, #noa_kom_tattoos what the story behind her client’s request was, and she said this: “My client found your picture online and really liked it. In Hebrew his daughter name means harvest field, and he wanted to tattoo her name meaning.

Our work spoke to someone across the globe, in such a way that they wanted to have it made permanent on their skin. It’s a beautiful tribute to their daughter. Minds blown.
